In the Real World...

While all of Washington watches the circus that is the filibuster stand-off, the real world continues. And continues to be generally ignored. For several months, we and many other bloggers have been writing about the genocide in Darfur. But, as the Coalition for Darfur reports today, complications and delays continue to hamper the effort to end the violence and save the black Sudanese who are being murdered every day. Nearly 400,000 have died.

We must not look away from this tragedy.
