London Bombings May Have Been Suicide Attacks

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the London bombers died in their attacks. British police apparently believe the attack was carried out by four men, all British citizens.

If this report is true, I am not surprised that the attacks were carried out by British citizens. The ideology of Islamic extremism knows no bounds and, despite popular myth, is not exclusive to the poor and oppressed. If the attacks were executed by British citizens, Britain has a lot of considerations ahead. How do you fight terrorists that live amongst you and are citizens of your country? How do you continue to tolerate a community that is capable of producing such evil?

But even before those questions can be addressed, the masterminds of this attack must be found. Someone planned all of this and I doubt it was one of the men who died in the attacks. Hopefully the culprits can be found soon.
