Sen. Clinton reaches out to soccer moms
The RNC, in reacting to a speech Sen. Clinton gave on energy policy and technology – which included a nice partisan jab at President Bush - last week said:
"Hillary Clinton's opportunistic attempt to market herself as a centrist is like a wolf dressing up in sheep's clothing," said RNC spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt. "Such thinly veiled rhetoric doesn't change the fact she is part of today's angry and adrift Democrat Party."
Clearly, the GOP is afraid that Clinton may make inroads among the Centrist voters. They may be right. Yesterday, Clinton gave a speech calling for tougher controls on violent video games – an issue sure to appeal to soccer moms everywhere.
While TYL would prefer to see the federal government remain out of the issue of regulating video game content, we couldn’t help but notice the political implications of Clinton’s speech.

Just posted on the dealings of the Junior Senator from New York. The GOP can scream all day long about sheep and woves but votes speak louder than rhetoric, and she's voting like a centrist.
yesss! (in re: mooney).
Whoa there crazy, not on the Hilary boat yet.
I'm not on the Hillary wagon just yet (and really doubt I'd ever get on it). Just pointing out that she's been making a concerted effort to reach out to the middle and is getting noticed for it.
The question remains- can Hill pick up a single Red State? Lots can happen before '08... and no one knows who her opponent will be. But she's got an upHill battle (pun intended) in Red America.
