Where there's smoke there's fire. And where there's a foul smell, there's probably something rotten. House Majority Leader Tom Delay has so many scandals linked to him that he's making good ole' Jim Wright look positively upstanding (what is it about these powerful U.S. House leaders from Texas?)

If you can't keep up with the Delay corruption stories, Slate offers this scorecard. It's probably high time for the Republican party to leave Delay by the roadside. 'Cause, as we say in Texas, if you lie down with dogs, you're gonna get up with fleas.
