Is Iran Harboring Terrorists?

They just might be.

What are we going to do about it? That remains to be seen. Iran is ruled by an oppressive regime that likely possesses weapons of mass destruction and is no friend to America. But unlike Iraq under Saddam Hussein, there has been some progress towards democracy in Iran. These steps have been hesitant and the progress has had setbacks, but there are a lot of groups both inside and outside Iran actively working towards creating a more democratic society. The situation is fragile but there is reason to have very guarded hope.

Plus, with Iran currently engaged in talks concerning the future of its nuclear program the Bush administration will not want to disrupt the chance to ensure Iran doesn't develop nuclear weapons.

But that doesn't change the fact that al Qaida terrorists are quite possibly operating out of Iran. Much like the problems with North Korea, the situation with Iran does not have a readily available or unilateral solution. In the coming years, the diplomatic abilities and foreign policies of the Bush administration will be seriously tested.
