Sunni Arabs join talks on Iraq’s future

Sunni Arabs, many of whom boycotted Iraq’s national elections, have begun talks with those writing the country’s new constitution.

As TYL just wrote – Alan scooped me on this story – progress is being made in Iraq, despite the specter of violence that continues to hang over the country. The willingness of Sunni Arabs to enter into framework of discussions over the country’s future is certainly another positive step.

It's clear that a majority of Iraqi's desire a free nation. Those who say "civil war is coming" rarely have any proof. They just hate Bush and want to see Iraq fail to "prove" Bush was wrong. Odd. I'd much rather place my hopes in democracy.
